FP&A Analyst
About the Role
The
FP&A Analyst position is a vital contributor to our finance team,
responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic support
across the organisation. This role focuses on providing insightful
financial decision-making guidance and performance measurement, supporting key
business initiatives, and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of
financial processes. The FP&A Analyst will interact with various
departments to collect, analyse, and consolidate financial information, playing
a pivotal role in our company's continuous growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into financial performance against targets.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and Financial Reporting to identify risks and develop appropriate mitigations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and strategic planning initiatives.
- Working with the business to identify, scope and design enhancements to the Yardi system (ERP) and Board system (Financial Planning).
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by consistently updating and refining financial databases and systems.
- Assist in the automation and enhancement of existing financial reporting tools and processes.

You bring a strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Your proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting marks you as a critical thinker, adept at problem-solving and collaborating with multiple departments. Key Requirements
- A professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance roles.
- Strong proficiency with financial software and tools, including MS Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts and metrics.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
